Remediating Ghost Databases in the Cloud

Learn how to safely remediate ghost databases after identifying them in your cloud environment. You'll implement a phased approach to handle abandoned RDS instances: Phase 1 (Triage) involves auto-tagging with Cloud Custodian and notifying potential owners. Phase 2 (Quarantine) demonstrates network isolation using restrictive security groups and IAM lockdowns to prevent unauthorized access. Phase 3 (Backup & Termination) covers creating final snapshots and safely deleting confirmed ghost databases.
