Installing and running Kali Linux for the Pentesting lessons

If you’d like to follow along the pentesting lessons with Kali Linux and you’re not sure how to install it, here are some helpful resources:

1. Install VirtualBox

2. Download an ISO image of Kali

3. Install Kali on VirtualBox

Then, at least if you plan on running the Damn Vulnerable Web App, I recommend using Docker to run the app. Here are instructions for running Docker in Kali.

After that, follow the steps listed in the lesson and have fun!
