Welcome to Cybr’s Terraform on AWS: From Zero to Cloud Infrastructure course!
In this lesson I’ll give you a quick overview of what we’re going to build and learn, what’s covered and what’s not covered, and then I’ll share more information about your authors.
By the end of this course, you will know how to build this project from scratch:
You’ll have a fully functional AWS deployment with an EC2 instance that you can access securely without an SSH key, instead by using Systems Manager.
To get to that point, you’ll first need to learn what Infrastructure as Code is and how it works, and you’ll need to learn about:
- Terraform providers
- Configuring AWS resources
- Managing state
- Importing existing resources
- Building reusable modules
- and more…
You’ll then apply what you’ve learned to create that project from scratch.
Then, we’ll wrap up by talking about important infrastructure as code security best practices including:
- IaC security scanning
- Secrets management
- Diagramming as code
Once you’re done with the course, you’ll have completed all of the skills in purple:
