  1. Nice! It would be wonderful if the actual test were this easy…I haven’t taken Sec+ yet

  2. Seems that i need to study more and prepare for the exam than i thought. This was a good way to see how well prepared I would be when it came to the exam as it was difficult finding a proper relevant practice exam. Soon I will come back when better prepared and based on my mistakes I will learn from them.

Thanks for the practice exam simulation and it really helped gauge my understanding for Sec+

    1. Thanks for your comment! I often recommend learners to take a quick quiz / practice exam to see where they’re at if they have prior IT experience, so glad to hear that’s the approach you took! Good luck with your studies and we’ll see you back here soon for more attempts 🙂

  3. These PBQs are great to practise. Would like to see some more of these that are closer to the real exam.
I am taking it in a couple of weeks.

  4. only thing i got wrong was not knowing what a routing table is (i have 0 IT experience and my exam is tomorrow). i feel pretty confident though. i’ve been using a ton of different resources and i’m getting a lot of PBQs correct. hopefully your second set of questions are helpful! we’ll find out in a few seconds haha

  5. I took the Google CS certification course but I have not taken the exam yet. I am feeling discouraged because most of the jobs I am seeing are either remote and/or hybrid or the on-site jobs require experience which I have none. Some jobs even require a security clearance which I do not have either. Is it even worth spending 200 to 400 dollars on this exam when I may not ever get a job in cybersecurity.

    1. Certifications can potentially help get a job, especially when they’re listed as requirements or “nice to haves” in the job description, but they are not a silver bullet. People taking certs expecting hiring managers to line up and throw jobs at them after they pass are going to be very disappointed when that doesn’t happen.
