Kali VM Issues
Hi, I am enjoying the class so far however I am now experiencing some issues with Virtual Box and the Kali VM. Having almost completed the ZAP Hud tutorial I am now having issues with the VM freezing up. I restarted the VM several times and I can barely get logged in before it freezes up again. I created a new Kali VM from the OVA file I downloaded from KALI. This new VM instance runs just as bad and often times I can’t even get to the log in screen. I’ve tried increasing the RAM for each VM instance to 8 and 16 MB and that has not improved my experience. I am out of ideas.

Hi William, I remember having similar issues when I upgraded to some of the latest VirtualBox versions. I hand’t found a solution and reverted back to a prior version just as a short-term fix

Hi Christophe, just so I understand are you talking about upgrading the VirtualBox itself or the OVA file version?

Hey, talking about VirtualBox’s version itself. We might be able to further research and see who else is having this issue and if they’ve discovered a fix
